The One Who Gives New Life

The familiar story of Lazarus has been called the “centerpiece of John’s Gospel.” Here we see both Jesus’ humanity and His deity. Here we are confronted with our greatest enemy, death, and find the One who is Master over death. The question we might ask ourselves is this: “Am I ready?” “Am I ready to believe in the One who is the Resurrection and the Life?”
